Your pharmacist will administer the vaccine into your upper arm, and you'll be on your way within 10 minutes. We'll schedule dose two before you leave.

Who can have the shingles vaccine?
The vaccine we use is suitable for adults aged 18 and over. It's especially recommended for those aged 50 and above, or anyone with a weakened immune system. Our pharmacist will discuss your medical history to confirm it's right for you.
How many doses do I need?
You need two doses. The second dose is given 2–6 months after the first. Both doses are necessary for full protection.
Is the shingles vaccine safe?
It's a well-established, non-live vaccine. Common side effects are mild and short-lived, such as a sore arm, muscle aches or a slight temperature. Serious side effects are very rare.
Can I have the vaccine if I've had shingles before?
Yes, you can be vaccinated even if you've had shingles in the past. The vaccine provides additional protection against recurrence and complications.
How effective is the shingles vaccine?
